Day 2 - Santa Clara, CA -> Eugene, OR

Not much to report on this leg of the journey, except that Shasta Lake is very low and that Oregon is quite pretty. I felt like a character out of Little House on the Prairie in my tiny overloaded car on the trail to Seattle. Dodger was a good sport, considering how bored he must have been after all the hours in my cramped car. No crying or whining out of that guy. We were trying to make it to Portland, Oregon, but the going was slower than I would have liked, so we got a room in Eugene and a good night's sleep. I'll post pictures later after I get a chance to upload them.
